November Shipping Update!

Hello everyone!

I’ve gotten several emails from backers curious about shipping, so I reached out to the fulfilment company about backer rewards. Admittedly, I was also confused as I knew some backers had recieved rewards but others had not. The fulfillment company I use is extremely professional and very good, so I was worried something had slipped through the cracks.

They got back to me quickly and this is the email I recieved:

Hi Levi,

Big apologies for the long delay. This is a very hectic time of the year for us and we had a few other large projects arrive to us around the time that yours did that are currently ahead of you in the queue. We will continue to get orders out as we can just to show some degree of progress, but your projects will likely not start in earnest until after Thanksgiving weekend.

Thanks for your understanding.

If there are any backers in particular that you want to take care of sooner rather than later, let us know and we can prioritize getting them out.

So, it seems as if there was a bit of miscommunication between the fulfilment company and myself. Ultimately, as the project lead and publisher, the responsibility for communicating this falls on me. Even though a few backers have recieved their rewards, as you can see from the email there has been a hold up on the rest. I believe this is the source of the miscommunication and, again, this is on me.

It appears that the remainder of orders will be going out to backers after the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. My apologies for the delay.

The Shipping Process Has Begun - Your Zines Are Rollin' Out!

Hello everyone!

Just wanted to drop a quick update to let everyone know that shipping has begun for Dungeon Malarky and a few other items in the Planet X Games queue. I have received a handful of notifications from backers who said they have already received their books... so as they go out in waves, keep your trusty Eye of Vecna out for them!

Thanks again for supporting this wild and weird project during Zinequest this year. Without each and every one of you guys there would be no Planet X and I wouldn't have the greatest job in the world in publishing these weird books and zines for you. You guys really are the best.

Speaking of Zinequest, Planet X will be launching an all-new issue of The Phylactery for this year's annual event. THE PHYLACTERY 5 is coming your way, bigger, bolder and double-stuffed full of content, yet still at the same ole' reliable price. Look for it in February 2024!

Surveys for PDF-Only Backers

Hello everyone!

I've received a number of emails and questions about missing backer surveys for PDF-only backers. If you haven't received one, this is 100% our fault. When setting up our Backerkit we must have made an error and clicked/unclicked a necessary toggle to get those to you. Our bad. 

We've got an email out to Backerkit Support and we should have it fixed in the next few days. Afterwards, you will get those surveys.

In the meantime, there are still many of you in other reward tiers who have yet to fill out the survey. The faster you guys get those sent in, the faster we can get your rewards out to you. The printer should be wrapping them up within the next week and then they'll be on their way to our warehouse.

Look for another status update soon... we're nearing the end! Thanks for taking this ride with us guys - we appreciate you!

Backerkit Surveys Are Out!

Dropping a quick note to let everyone know that Backerkit surveys are out and should be in your email inboxes as you read this. 

We're probably 2-3 weeks out from shipping these to you guys, so make sure you get your surveys filled out and we'll take care of the rest. If you missed anything from our previous campaigns, you can get it in Backerkit with no fuss.

Smoke tests are out for Dungeon Malarky, which means 5% of you should be receiving surveys... so heads up!
